Welcome to the Sydney Women’s AFL Masters.
This is an initiative of a group of women who have played, coached and administered AFL in Sydney since the early 2000s and the Balmain and Newtown Breakaways footy clubs - to create an inclusive, social and fun space for women over 35 to continue, return to, or start playing footy.
Our collective vision is to create sufficient momentum to start a masters competition in Sydney.
It all starts in 2023 with a social program including games and festivals and of course defending our title at the National AFL masters carnival in Maroochydore in September.
New & experienced players welcome. If you are still playing competitively football you are also able to join us for our social football games through 2023.
